About Me
My named is Yumi Ogawa (小川由美（おがわゆみ), and I am the founder of SAN DIEGO SHIATSU & MASSAGE.
Born and raised in Kagoshima, Japan, I moved to the United States and graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2003. I am a licensed and certified massage therapist providing therapeutic bodywork since 2003.
I worked for Crystal Cruise Spa where I traveled to countries all over the world. I was then then employed in Waikiki, Hawaii where I further honed my skills as a massage therapist. I currently hold a position at the world famous Golden Door Spa in Escondido, California.
I specialize in SHIATSU massage, as well as massage for relaxation, well-being and stress relief. I intuitively blend the techniques of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Trigger Point Therapy and Thai massage, emphasizing integrated awareness of the body and mind.
